A Fighter is the simplest and most direct class. Not much else to gloss over really. You may want to look at its further branches (Battle master, Champion etc.) to suit your playstyle.

What I want you to do to generate your stats is to roll Four 6 sided dies and add the 3 highest and not count the 4th lowest, 6 times. Record these numbers so that we may choose your best stats. If you don't understand how this works, I can generate one for you.
