The little platform, able the stage, where she'd first stood when people came to their previous meeting. “Nice to see ya. Got anything you need to discuss?” The infamous hacker was sitting crisscross with her laptop, peering down at Isabel as she casually sipped a can of beer below. “Also. Don't worry. I didn't see you changing.” “Oh, you were here too uh,” she said, and while it was sudden it was hardly surprising, Ditch, with all her data mining, looked like someone who could be sneaky. Of course, there was also the fact that Isabel’s senses were not the best and even an elephant would be able to go unnoticed by her at times. “Wait, how did you even knew I changed then?” She tilted her head. “Ah, yes, uh, do you know how Shifter’s powers work? I’m not very up to date with the villain and vigilante scenario” “Saw you changing. Looked away.” Ditch replied simply, waving her hand as if to say ‘Obviously’. “And Shifter’s powers? I’ve never seen her up close. All I know is she can turn into any animal, and they’re usually very large. You’ll learn from experience, I suppose.” Ditch said with a shrug. “I see, it will be an interesting experience, so far I never had a serious situation with another Super, I did bash some in the street, but they were not really much of a thing, barely kept up a fight” she shrugged too “I did talk with my sister too, I think you know who she is from all the spying, she knows about a lot of stuff, sadly no info from there either” she reached for her bag and took a can of beer “Want one?” Ditch’s expression turned just the slightest bit sour as Isabel mentioned speaking to her sister. It was clear she didn’t like that info was being passed around. “You need to be careful who you speak too. In no time it’ll come back and bite you in the ass.” Ditch muttered. She gazed at the can of beer, and held up her hand, motioning for Gorgon to throw it to her. “Here you go!” She threw it with enough care to not spin too much and give Ditch a bad time when she tried to open the thing. “Damn, I’m legitimately sorry, you know, family and stuff, you just get a bit used to it…” she stopped talking for a few seconds, thinking if this talk was appropriate, considering why she was called Ditch “Either way, won’t happen again” she made a zip movement across her mouth. She expertly caught the can of beer, popping it open and taking a long sip. “As long as you trust they won’t turn on you. Just, you know. Keep your teammate’s identity’s safe. It could mean everything.” Ditch sighed. “But thanks. I appreciate the sensitivity.” Teams, that was a word that didn’t even cross Isabel’s mind, she spent most of her life on her own, it was still very odd to have anyone with a link of responsibility tied to her. “I wouldn’t want to cause any trouble to those wackos, considering how many problems they cause to themselves already and all” she took a long swig from her can of beer, finishing it, and then placing the empty thing in a green bag in her backpack full of other cans and plastic. With another can in hand, she continued “But maybe I might get used to our squad, I also thought that everyone in the college was bananas in my freshman year but now I have friends and all. I do not know really, spending so much time alone in a jungle can make you a bit socially awkward, it does make it easier to deal with animals, though, maybe I can just pat Scarlet’s head and have her joining us” she grinned slightly. Ditch, after another long sip of beer, snorted. “Scarlet won’t go down without a fight, I can promise you that.” She shook her head. “We really are a bunch of whackos. These fucking powers. I wonder what the world would be like without ‘em.” Ditch sighed and tipped the can again. “Well, the world was without those for 99% of its existence, stuff still died in dumb ways. Particularly the big stuff, while the little lizards, mammals and birds survived to tell the story, I mean, the mammals did, and birds can do it too if it's like a parrot.” She went for another gulp but noticed this can was empty already “Anyway, Maybe that is why Umbra and you thrive so much, at least in face of stronger heroes, survival of the fittest does not mean survival of the strongest, most of the time it's the contrary” with this she grabbed her backpack up “And I think I will be going, my pets would go mad if they woke up in the morning and didn’t see me, or more importantly, their food. I should probably find a friend to keep them, with all the rush we are going through.” She sighed, then smiled “Thanks for hearing my babble, but get some sleep you nerd, wouldn’t want you dozing off while making the decisions that could end our lives. And add some recyclable material bins to the design of the HQ, what is the point of defeating the big bad Umbra if we trash up the Earth?” She was not typically this forceful with her views, but alcohol had this odd effect of bringing the activist inside her out. Ditch let out a small laugh at Isabel’s rambling. It intrigued her and interested her, but mostly she got a good kick out of what the girl had to say, especially since she had been very quiet earlier. “Thanks for stopping by.” Ditch said with a grin.
