Combat medicine tends to be more quick and (no offence) dirty. you don't have time to play around with layer after layer of gauze on continuous bleeding, you throw a tourniquet 2 inches above the wound and tie it off. you don't have the luxury of a 30 min hospital ride, your nearest mash unit might be 3 hours or more away. I understand that well enough, seeing some of the equipment and shortcuts my dad had the ability to use, instead of the civilian gear and regulations was eye opening. ill change it around.
That is my point, there is a large gap in the training, and that is why I had my character take both spec's, and both forms of extensive training in his Bio. Accumulating those years of training is a key to him as a character altogether, not just a spec he uses. Edit: You know what, I am sorry. I can see my words seem to be perceived in an ill-manner, when they aren't meant that way. You do whatever you want with your specs. I need to just go for right now.. I have some things to tend too, my apologies.
