One by one they arrived in their own fashion, from near threats to pouncing down to … walking there. Reaper raised a slight eyebrow underneath her hood at Turn Back, but otherwise didn’t acknowledge it. He probably hid his transport already. Instead the vigilante turned to sweep her gaze over the assembled group, listening in silence as Gorgon was the first to start considering their plan of action. Soon however her blackened eyes once more focused on the dilapidated house. “She might be more willing to talk than you think,” Reaper finally commented, raising a gloved hand to point towards the house. “Look. There is no movement. I can’t hear anything either. You would think the house would creak. But I can sense someone in there – she’s hiding.” A pause then, and a small shrug of her shoulders. “Either that or there’s a hidden base.” Reaper stepped slightly to the side, closer to Tank’s shadow. Instantly it began to wisp up and around their legs, curling before disappearing into the air. “There’s really any number of possibilities. Planning for them all will take time we do not have. I suggest the diplomatic approach at first as well – which is why I’m going to go in.” With her words out Reaper abruptly dropped into Tank’s shadow. It was best she got there before Sparky anyway. Taking the unconventional method of reappearing directly into the house’s kitchen was child’s play. Everything inside was dark after all, all it took was finding a window while talking to the others to have her entry point. Her hands appeared first, grabbing onto the wall as she pulled herself out and landed on her feet on the rotting wood. Just like she suspected the very foundation of the house seemed to groan with the motion. The place looked like no one had touched it in a few decades. Disgusting. ”I’m buying this place just to tear it down after this,” Reaper couldn’t help but think bitterly as she kicked some of the trash away. The place looked like a rat’s nest, as though it would collapse on her head any second. Really it was a good thing she could escape darkened places. A quick glance around, including nudging open a few places fearlessly – one of the closet doors in the hallway fell off – yielded nothing interesting other than some dirt on her outfit. Jasper would have to clean it when she got home. There was only one other place to look, provided the hidden base idea wasn’t in play. Reaper quickly found the steps to the second floor and couldn’t help but crinkle her nose underneath the balaclava. The stairwell looked like she’d get asthma just from walking up it. Letting out a long suffering sigh Reaper shook her head and started up the rotting steps, skipping over the missing ones – though even those still there creaked forebodingly. Exploring the second floor wouldn’t take long at all either – it all just seemed empty. “I wonder if Scarlet Shifter is really just Scarlet Cockroach right now, laughing at my misfortune. Joke’s on her, I don’t live in this dump.” Reaper couldn't help but grump as she started glancing around the second floor with the same caution. It just appeared... empty.
