Elsewhere ~ Shujin - His recovery time had been great for him. His burns from his battle with Sasha were no longer painful. He knew he wasn't taking part in the games today, so he had taken the time to explore the back ends of crocus. He felt a dark presence behind him constantly, but whenever he turned to look he saw nothing. The presence grew further, the deeper he delved into crocus's back streets. Making a decision, he walked to the quietest area he could find, and faked to look at the bricks on the wall. He felt this presence once more, so close. It felt like pure death itself. He did not turn. "Metal make: Lance!" He brought his hands together and swung around, firing metal magic. A katana sliced straight through the lances, before the cloaked wielder advanced for an attack. "Metal make: impact!" He brought his hands together crushing the attacker, or so he thought. Being satisfied with his work and relaxed, before feeling a slight point in the back of his neck. It was the damn sword. It wasn't being pressed hard enough to draw blood though. "Dont move." The cloaked female voiced. 'A women?' Shujin thought. "Ok... you got me. What do you want wench?" He put his hands in the air. She was about to speak, before he shot metal shards from his hands at point blank at her wrist, making a direct hit. She dropped the sword as a result, and he spun on the spot, grasping her cloak, and slamming her into the ground, back first, getting on top of and pinning her. He ripped the hood from her head. She had her eyes closed and her face was screwed up, expecting a strike. "Who are you?!" He yelled, fist raised and ready. She relaxed a little and sighed. "Don't you remember me Onii-san?" She opened her eyes and looked at him, tearing up. She was beautiful, and he knew exactly who she was. Flashbacks of her as a child ran through his head again and again. He hesitated for only a moment, before yelling, fist shaking. The girl did nothing. "Why?!" He trembled. "Why didn't you leave with me?!" He was on the edge. Finally he let her cloak go and sat back. He couldn't hurt her. "Wither." He took a deep shaky breath. It seemed that he would be getting a visit from his past. The girl sat up, before shuffling over to him and taking a hold of his cheeks. "I missed you." He teared up even more. "I'm not the same girl that stayed behind." He cried a little before wiping her tears and closing her eyes. Her voice switched to something different. It was dark, and monotone. "I'm worse." He grinned ever so slightly, evilly. She opened her dark, but deep eyes, and stared into his, making the required connection. Shujin felt strange, it was as if her soul was entering his body. He was turning pale, and breaking out in a sweat all over. It felt like all the viruses had been put into his body at once. She laughed, standing up letting shujin go. He dropped face first to the floor. "I could kill you so easily if I wanted to Onii-san." she laughed some more before getting serious. "No... I have a job for you..." She grinned again, as Shujin forced his head up to look at her. "Before the grand magic games end... you must kill a certain miss Sasha Shin..." She paused, before his skin regained its colour, and he felt instantly better, being able to stand again. "...and it'll work out fine for you! I own you now Shujin. Disobey this command and you shall be with your parents." She laughed one finally time before placing her hood back over her head, and leaving. Shujin couldn't move. He was either frozen in fear, or shock. He wasn't sure. Elsewhere to elsewhere ~ Lazarus - Lazarus had also had a similar encounter to Shujin. His attacker was also cloaked. The man who had come for him bore large white wings, sticking out from rips in the cloak. "Lazarus Rex." He grumbled. "Your time is at an end." He chuckled. "And my time is beginning." He lunged forward, preparing an attack Lazarus whipped off his top fur piece, tossing it aside. "Not if I hit you first!" He roared. "Fist of the light..." He stopped, remembering he couldn't use god slayer magic right now. The cloaked figure chuckled. "Fist of the light god!" His fist crashed into Lazarus' jaw. Time inside lazarus' head stopped. 'Huh? What is this guy? He must be able to manipulate other people's magic.' Time started again, and Lazarus was sent hurtling into a fruit cart. He forced himself to his feet. "Regulus impact!" He would rely on his heavenly body magic. His fists filled with silver light. He charged forward, throwing a punch. His wrist was grasped onto by his attacker. Lazarus couldn't escape. He looked down at his arm, and the light regulus was being eaten from his hand. "This light tastes like a loser." The figure laughed. "Below of the light god!" Lazarus was hit full on from point blank range. He was once again sent flying, but this time into a brick wall. He couldn't muster any strength to get up. At this point he felt genuine fear. The footsteps of his attacker got closer and closer until he could see their feet right in front of his face. "Remember this Lazarus. You will never beat me... You will die here, and never see your newborn child... and the next time you see your fiance is when I kill her too. go to the depths of hell for all your sins." He took a step back before making several hand movements. "Amaterasu - formula 100!" Lazarus braced himself. This was where it would end. He closed his eyes as the magic was cast. His last thoughts would be of Sasha. He suddenly filled up with rage. "I'm sorry Sasha." He muttered. "I almost forgot what I'm living for." He forced himself off the ground, forming his wings and flying upwards, weakly. The blast from the magic denotation carried Lazarus into a building at a phenomenal speed, however the adrenaline allowed his to continue his escape. He did manage to escape his attacker, but he was in a bad way. Lazarus managed to make it to the grand magic games stadium, where he entered the contestant corridors, before collapsing, covered in burn marks, gashes, and bruises. Nothing was broken, but he passed out due to magic exhaustion.
