Things turned very south, very quickly. Serena dove behind the nearest cover as one of their trucks exploded into a showy fireball that represented nicely how well the team's first attempts at sneaking were going. [color=Hotpink][i]We can't even sneak up on drunk pirates. Great.[/i][/color] Bullets began to come from alarming directions (and, more importantly and far more alarmingly, in her direction) and Serena pressed a couple buttons on her Omni-tool, activating her Sentinel Armor. Sure, it made her a far more obvious target, what with the glowing yellow armor and such. But given that pirates were shooting anything that moved and a good deal of things that weren't, Serena felt better with an extra layer of shields over her original ones and her armor. [color=Hotpink]"Del! Activate protocol 'Tres Amigos!'"[/color] The combat drone beeped in reply, splitting into three smaller drones. Before she sent the three mini-Dels into battle, she made sure she knew where all her companions were. Lest Del accidentally shoot while they were trying to move. 

Alex, after turning several Batarians into impressively horrifying piles of gore, was hiding behind a wall in another building. Iosif was making his way slowly over to the remaining truck, where Tanya was hiding. Suddenly, slowly was gone and he was sprinting towards the truck after shouting out he had an idea, only to catch a bullet. [color=hotpink]"Alright. Good news, I know exactly where everyone is, and I know where I need to go! Bad news, it's across a very hostile battlefield and I'm not entirely putting my trust in the fact that they have everyone distracted or pinned down who would love to shoot me. And they've already shot Iosif."[/color] Serena talked to herself, largely out of habit. It helped her focus and calm her nerves. 

[color=hotpink]"I swear to God if I get shot I'm demanding that Iosif, Vellios, anyone else who gets shot, and I get a bigger share."[/color] She muttered, turning to Del. [color=hotpink]"Okay Del, Protocol Exterminate. Parameters: Anything that's a pirate, but not anything that's a Batarian. We do have that friend whose picture I showed you. Don't shoot him."[/color] The drones beeped in unison before rising up from her cover and zooming off, mini gatling guns going off as they found targets to attack and dodge response attacks from. One covered the building Tonka had been forced to abandon, while the other two simply found whichever pirates weren't in good enough cover. 

Serena briefly sent a message to Mirage. [color=hotpink]"All three of my drone is out, feel free to take control of one and shoot things. But I swear, if you get one of him injured or destroyed I am making you pay for every penny of the repair. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to run for my life."[/color] With that, she crouched into a ready position and throwing a barrier around her body. Serena took a deep breath thought, [color=hotpink][i]Vellios' insanity is rubbing off on me.[/i][/color], and then ran for her life towards Tanya and Iosif. 

[color=hotpink]"ShitshitshitshitshitshitSHITshitshitshitshtiSHITshitshit...."[/color] 

She continually chanted that word, voice rising in pitch as she felt a bullet ping against one of her shields until she practically collided into the truck and dove in next to Iosif. Relief flooded through her (She had made it, she was alive, thank God for excessive shielding!), quickly fading away at the realization the truck wasn't peeling out and that they were still in one position. One very open position. Where the pirates now knew they were all at. [color=hotpink]"Isoif, buddy, how is it going? You heard Tonka, right? And we're getting ready to go right now, right? Because being blown up is very low on my list of 'things to do on first mission.'[/color]
