The boy quietly slowed his pace down in just the right way so that the others sped past him before meeting the two beings blocking their path. One looked human, though he came with what appeared to be a giant puppet. The other looked like an amorphous black blob with a facemask sewn on it. Both were in the way of the fight and though they didn't seem overly hostile, they most were certainly suspicious in both word and action as they sought to keep the group from preventing the fight for whatever reason. Glancing at a nearby alleyway, the redhead then dashed into it while everyone's attention was preoccupied before assuming a pose for the inevitable transformation. One brief burst of crimson light later and there appeared to be a rather petite twintailed girl two heads shorter than Souji that was standing where he had been. With a burst of augmented strength, the henshin hero jumped straight up to a rooftop to peer down on the surroundings- ready to leep into action should things go wrong.
