Wraith
Just as Wraith was about to open her mouth again, the person they'd all been waiting for walked in through the wall, and was promptly scared off by one of the most intimidating attempts at starting a conversation she'd ever encountered. Maybe having a room of armed and dangerous super-powered vigilantes wasn't the best way to start a friendship. Who knew? she thought, rolling her eyes in a way that made it quite clear what she was thinking. She snapped out of her daydream when she heard Omega shout at her and Ecto to chase him down. As much as she'd love to stay here and be sarcastic, the guy had a point. I hate it when they have a point. If they wanted to calm Walker down for a talk though, whatever that thing Raven had summoned wouldn't help. It freaked Wraith out, and it was probably on her side. Aiming for the space that Wall Walker had just disappeared through, Wraith phased through the wall after him, just a little too slow for her to see where he'd gone. This chase was going well so far, then. Sometimes Wraith thought she should spend less time on one-liners and more time on her job. Then again, one-liners were the most important part. She shook her head in frustration. Great. All that talk, and she'd lost him within ten seconds. If only some kind of convenient noise would lead her to where he was. On cue, she heard Omega shouting from nearby, and sprinted as fast as she could towards the source of the noise, just to see the gravity controller crumple. She didn't have time to see if he was alright, and didn't really care either. Natural selection and everything. She was far more interested in chasing down Wall Walker, whose leg she saw disappear through the back wall. She vaguely noticed the sound of another person or two entering the room behind her as she sprinted after the criminal, phasing through the wall behind his exit within seconds. Someone needed to keep track of the guy. He'd better hope the rest of them catch up fast. For his sake, and that of his internal organs. This was starting to annoy her now, and she completely forgot her persona as she started to chase him down. "You should really give this whole chase thing up, pal." she said, losing her cheerfulness in favour of an almost emotionless monotone. "Your powers are just a discount version of my own, anyway. And if there's one thing I hate, it's a cheap knockoff." As she spoke, she laid on an extra burst of speed, hoping to catch up to Wall Walker. She was prepared for the guy to try and surprise her, but decided to give him a taste of his own medicine, raising the density of her fist as launched a quick punch at the fleeing criminal, preparing herself mentally for him to retaliate.
