As soon as he cleared the door, however, a pair of hands grabbed him from behind and propelled him into the wall in front of him. He was already going pretty fast, so the extra momentum made for a hard hit. He lost his footing and crashed shoulder-first into the wall -- inertia causing his other arm to fling up and hit the wall as well -- before stumbling down onto his right side. He quickly twisted around to see the source of the ambush, and had just enough time to see a man with black-brown hair disappearing through the wall into the next apartment. Dammit, I fell for the oldest trick in the book… Immediately, Wraith phased through the wall next to the door from which Omega had just emerged. She quickly glanced in his direction before darting off in pursuit of Walker. A few seconds later, the creepy wraith from before had appeared right in front of Omega, inches from his face. It was on a whole other level of horrifying being this close to her. He instantly stiffened, each muscle as tense as steel wire. A deadpan expression washed over his face as he began to sweat a little, never taking his eyes off of her. The wraith lingered for a few seconds before letting out another blood-curdling shriek, which was strangely muffled yet ear-splitting at the same time, and racing off once again in the pursuit of Walker. Omega then let out the breath he had been apparently holding and relaxed just the slightest bit, finding extreme relief in the fact that the wraith was on his side. Omega spotted Graffiti at the door as he was getting to his feet. He had to make a split-second decision on which direction to go in: he could go the direct route and make his way through the next apartment with Wraith, probably having to take out another wall or window to keep up with Walker, or he could go out and around to the side of the building hoping to cut Walker off as he came out, which would take a few seconds longer. He decided on the latter, hoping his speed would make up for the few precious moments that had been lost already. “C’mon! We can cut him off around the other side!” Sprinting past Graffiti, he burst through the front door of the building, seeing Rose, Ditch, and Raven Tale as they rushed past. He called out as he ran to catch up to the group. “Staying behind him isn’t going to get us anywhere. If we can get ahead of him, we can trap him. Rose, how do those wall gadgets work?” As he cleared the corner of the building, he could see that Walker had just emerged with Wraith right on his tail and Ecto swooping down on him from above.
