Kyre's heart jumped when he heard a sound echoing from some where outside. He looked outside from where we sat at the back of the garage to the school perimeter fence in the distance, just beyond the open garage door. His eyebrows furrowed with uncertainty before he looked to Jess. [color=8493ca]"Did you hear that?..."[/color] he spoke quietly. [color=8493ca]"I don't think that was a zombie, it almost sounded like someone yelling for help."[/color] He quickly stood up, his heart still pounding. [color=8493ca]"Do you think it's one of the guys? Should we go check it out?"[/color] He was trying not to look so panicked since it could easily be mistaken for concern over the wellbeing of the others when the only thing he's really worried about was getting food and water. The bag of doritos he ate only held off the hunger, but he hadn't been able to get a real long drink of water for 2 days. He didn't have his own bag to carry anything in and he would usually eat or drink whatever he found while out helping the scavengers, but he hadn't gone out with them for a while and he didn't like relying on others so he never bothered to ask any of them for water. It didn't help that he often didn't go have lunch with them, he's usually outside teasing the zombies at the fence or taking a nap.
