Was it really too much to ask that one time, one time Reaper put on this mask that it would be easy? Of course it was. No sooner than one situation was defused that another one started. It began with voices outside, and then a feeling that slowed down her movements wrapping the wound of the woman that was suddenly slumping and leaning against her. Confusion wracked Reaper’s mind for a moment, but was quickly dispelled by a voice outside. “Where are you, Kitten? Its past your bed time!” That would explain a lot. Maybe not why Reaper was suddenly feeling like a cat nap sounded like a good idea, but it was a pretty good assumption to assume it was these jokers if Scarlett’s weight on her was any indication. Underneath the mask the vigilante’s teeth grit as their new ‘guests’ entered the premises, her black eyes narrowing dangerously. It wasn’t hard to guess who these people were, even if she couldn’t see the distinctive mark right away. They were cornered, with the person they were after passed out – from blood loss or worse. Unnoticeable with her black eyes Reaper’s gaze shifted around at her teammates as her mind raced. Would three of them be enough? Fighting with Scarlett there just promised a distraction, especially if these minions went after her during the battle. All of this passed rapidly through Reaper’s mind before she settled on a decision, and could only hope the others followed through. Reaper’s fingers twitched back, and a weight in her back pocket lessened as the object moved through the shadows to appear in her hand. Thumbing the metal clip off caused it to drop to the floor with a rattle, and in that instant Reaper threw her hand out. “BRIBERY!” Hundreds of dollars were flung into the faces of their enemies, the green bills filling their vision right in front of them from the money clip. It was a gamble depending on how desperate these thugs were, but if they joined Umbra of their own volition there’d hopefully be some human greed. Using the moment to surge up almost saw Reaper stumble with Scarlet’s weight, but with no time to lose she was already shoving the unconscious redhead to her largest companion. “Tank! Make like this house is a stage and GO!” As soon as he took her the shadows under the hoodie’s sleeves that Reaper wore surged forward and covered her gloves, solidifying into sharp claws reminiscent of the tiger’s they were just fighting. She turned her attention back to Umbra’s men, under the mask almost baring her teeth as she went to a fighting stance. Now, if everything went to plan the three of them left would either take them out or escape. Simple, right? Another piece of debris fell behind them from the crumbling second floor. Yup. Simple.
