"Mifune-san!"

A stern, scolding voice echoed across the hallway. If the aforementioned Arina Mifune were to turn around, she would have been treated to the sight of a middle-aged woman, dressed professionally, stalking through the crowds of students towards her. There was a clear tone of disapproval present, which was far from unexpected; the utterly blatant disregard for Uchima Senior High's uniform policy was not something that would be tolerated by the teaching staff. While they were relatively lenient on some modifications to a student's general dress, they had to draw the line at not wearing an uniform at all.

"Detention tomorrow morning, nine am," said the teacher, who had crossed the gap between her and Arina remarkably quickly and had already scribbled an official note that she was handing towards the delinquent. "This is entirely unacceptable."

The school rules were not to be so casually disregarded.
