Thanks for the suggestions, that sounds like a great idea! XD 
I would probably go mostly cautious and vigilant, but if she had a close encounter with one of the more dangerous Others, her general anxiety about the whole situation would show. Which if she had a roommate or friend who was a hidden Other, the conversation afterward would be pretty interesting.
