Serah had sat down next to Atty for a couple more minutes, staring out into the field blankly whilst waiting on the choppers. It was starting to get really boring out here. Her prayers were answered from above, with the helicopters finally arriving to pick everyone up. Serah got onto them wordlessly, and didn't say much during the trip either. This silent mood didn't clear up any, even as all of them were being escorted to the debriefing room to get their report. Predictably, Lorenzo was angry with everyone. And he decided to start unleashing his anger on the blue haired girl first, saying she might as well have committed suicide the way she acted. She was also called out to be the worst offender, something that stung even harder. Serah grit her teeth, especially struck by the part where Lorenzo compared himself to her father. There's no way they didn't know about everyone's past, so this felt more like a personal insult than it did a lecture. Still, the girl was wise enough to not disobey her superiors an opted to just tough it out and listen like she's supposed to. If they drilled one thing into you during any form of military training, it's to suck it up and listen to whatever those that outrank you throw at you. Lorenzo went further down the list, with sometimes even more scathing comments or softened blows. One thing was for sure, and that was that the man didn't seem to like anyone here at the moment and decided to rag on EVERYONE. Even when it ended with the promise of Parfait, Serah still didn't feel any better at the end. "No questions, Sir." was her reply to Lorenzo, and just idly shifted in place hoping to get dismissed soon. She needed a moment away from the crowds.
