I see Meliona gesture for me to follow but I shake my head only to retreat further into the darker part of the corridor. I watch and I listen to the conversation. 

Although she  wouldn't mind having a friend she wasn't one to get close enough to a person to be called a friend. Maybe she just needed to stop worrying about everything and at least try to make friends, but for now she will just stay on the shadows for a little bit longer
