[@The Grey Dust] I can work in some history for the last two-thousand years. And a tank? I said it weighed as much as a tiger, dude. Anyways, I get that it's a real nasty, and like a killer beast folks will want it gone. Thing is, it's a personal enemy. It would pick on one character at a time, making itself their personal nemesis. I won't say kill them, because honestly, it's not as powerful as you think. It can be a real nightmare for someone that has no tactical sense, but with a little elbow grease and the right kind of offence, it can be beaten by a single character. Case in point, its latest fight in the Arena. Take a gander. I'd say it would have a fair bit of trouble taking on more than one strong vampire at a time. By the way, this is a good chance to read the book after looking at the cover. I'll include some of its other matches after the one it died in, so you can get a real taste for its actual strength and personality. He had many days to think up a game plan. I like creating an intense story, an experience. Winning the fight isn't a top priority. http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/89624-the-soil-of-a-mans-heart-edrik-pedrone-vs-shashous-throth/ic
That's entirely the point. It seems like a character set best in the arena. How would we interact with it outside of the Moby Dick? Outside of being a common enemy, despite picking off enemies one a time (given that reduced power you would submit by lowering the prodigious spawn rate of its minions) it would still be considered a major threat just due to its presence as a "monsterous" vampire, rather than one that blends into the public. And since It doesn't seem to have a political pull, it currently may be treated as a feral vampire since it has no clear distinction its domain of control. I suspect solider would keep tabs on it, although only focus on it should it act out since it would seem to be a rather horrific public terror. I mean to use the word tank not in the sense of the physical tank, but the metaphysical concept, as in a "bulwark." Sorry for the confusion. That being said it is physically monstrous enough to encourage extermination. Maybe even for sport. That being said, what do you plan to do with the character? Since you have yet to answer this main question posed since there are few logical interactions I can see happening. As Roman mentioned, this thread is about the fine line of coexistence between the characters and factions. Failure to maintain the brinksmanship would result in total war breaking out and I'm not sure if Wraith wants a complete and total war... Yet. Certainly we'd eventually have the climatic showdown I'm sure but until then most of the thread can build tension with a few skirmishes and interactions here and there until we reach a natural breaking point. Wraith will throw in some GM opinions. I'm primarily worried about adequate interactions, plot building and reasonable balancing.
