Looks like there was a small misunderstanding on my part. When Lin said to Hez that if they encountered monsters, she was referring to [b]Hez[/b] being unable to fight them, not everyone else in the party. Hez is unable to fight, although I'll demonstrate later that she sort of functions as the team's white mage.
