Along with that, how far can they stray from their human? Do they have to stay by their side or can they roam?

Also, whether or not they can interact with things outside of a 'fusion', my character probably won't be able to. Another form of punishment, I guess, to ensure he never neglects his human because he can't interact with the world without him.
