But he was being bigger than his feelings for guarding and decided she’d be safer. He was walking to the stadium, his team leader, Nolan, was about to fight. Lucas hadn’t really seen Nolan fight, other than the time they took down the rogue S class wizard. It should be interesting to learn how he fights, it will be good for Lucas to learn his leader’s tactics. But along the way Lucas felt uneasy, like someone or something is following him. He shifted his look left and right, slowly, as if any sudden movements would set off a chain of explosions. A slight glow of blue was on a building, but when Lucas focused on it, it faded. He ran to the corner where the light came from, nothing. It must have been his eye, playing tricks on him. It’s been hard to adjust to only having one eye. But the thing that really annoyed him was his power was cut exactly in half, if he had all of it, he might even pass as an S class mage. He didn’t like to dwell on the thought, his life being as it was, he was thankful he still had magic. He continued his walk, the stadium growing in size as he walked closer to it, the crowd now being heard, the power of all the magic being felt and that blue light, off to Lucas’s eye. He snapped quickly, his right hand holding a ball of yellow light, ready to fire on the target. But almost as quickly as the light appeared, it was gone. Lucas’s body slowly relaxed, the ball of light fading. He wasn’t wearing his mask or his new attire, so he was easy to recognize as Lucas Ryder. He was slightly annoyed at himself, he should’ve worn his mask and new cloak, Golden Laws wouldn’t be able to spot him. Lucas’s pace quickened and he fully relaxed when he saw her, the recognizable hair, Amaya. He waved to her, ”Amaya, wait up!”
