I'll mostly be focusing on my poor girl. Would be a touching and mind-blowing moment for all these humans to see a orc, splattered with blood from the battle that just occurred, with a ferocity about him, tending to his mount tenderly and such. I might share a small bit of dialogue between one of the crossbowmen or something witty but otherwise insignificant.

Edit: My character has a bit of pipeweed left, back when I used to smoke weed I used to blow it in my old, sick dog's ear and he'd stop whining as much, sorta just laid down and beckoned for more. This is a very different situation, but including something like that my alleviate a bit of the tension. I'd rear her back a few feet, try and take her mount off and just lay her down, see what we can do from there. Probably wouldn't be wise to put her down in front of the pack. Likewise, it probably wouldn't be wise to yank that sucker out of her eye. This is a sticky situation indeed.
