[@EurmalEye]That would be fine. Illusion could be Light elemental, or maybe some sort of telepathy, which would also be elemental (using mental energy instead of a normal element). Those would produce hologram-like illusions and mental illusions respectively. It could also come from a trickster god/demon or something similar through divine/demonic magic. Or it could be Arcane, which is versatile but not very powerful, but a trapper doesn't seem to be the kind that could afford to dedicate years to studying it. Since I don't think I explained it well earlier, Arcane is basically a magical extension of what you understand about the world, so it can cover any area. If someone who studies arcane magic studies light, they learn to manipulate and produce it with magic. If they study movement/physics, they learn to move things with magic, IE, telekinesis. If they study the mind, they learn to manipulate and read it, ie telepathy. This makes it versatile, but because you have to learn how to do it through intellectual study it is slow to improve more than one area. My character, for example, is too ADD to stick with one subject long enough to become powerful in one type of arcane magic.
