No, it isn't a continuity - otherwise at least two other chracters would probably be dead... - but Outpost 57 did blow up due to a bit of strife caused by one of my participants. 

That, and I'd like to try a different setting this time, just not [b]too[/b] different; to wit, I shall probably have us all gather on a civilised/hive world near the Koronus Expanse, then get us going from there.

In your case, BC, it'll be fine; Galga can be stuck on this planet for years, no worries, and there's not much need for anyone to alter their backstories.
