As for where it takes place... A mixture of places. The mortal Realm and the Pantheon's homes. Bes'eshe would be found mostly in Egypt expect when flaunting the Greeks when she's in Rome. Morrigahn would be in Britannia. Often walking among the mortals or working from the Realm of Dreams. General places would be Rome, Thebes, and Northern Gaul/Southern Britain. Where power struggles with word and sword will be.

Mortal Realm - Realm of human (Our Realm)
Realm of the Gods - Olympus, Underworld, pantheon homes
Dream Realm - Mortal Dreams Realm. Enterable only to certain Gods.
Afterlife - Depends upon the believer
