As instructed by Lazarus Imgor put Alexander down into the center of the rune. While he didn't really trust Lazarus, Willo and Jonathan yet—he had just met them—up until now the situation didn't allow reluctancy. The fact that Joshua seemed to trust them didn't matter much to Imgor.
However, as he couldn't really do much now, he decided it wouldn't be a bad opportunity to get to know them a bit.
