He is constantly either smirking or scoffing, and his face is a fairly even mixture of babyfaced softness and pubescent maturity. He is clearly a teenager in his appearance, though he carries himself with the confidence of a man -- This usually serves to accentuate his punchability even more. Other than these small details, Halil has a pretty forgettable appearance and is more or less exactly what you'd expect a teenage bengali boy to look like; tan skin, black hair, and brown eyes. His eyebrows are on the thicker side and his ears stick out a bit, but otherwise, Halil isn't exceptionally handsome or ugly, he's just Halil. He has a notably flashy style of dressing and favors gaudy, noticable chains, headphones, and rings. His tastes change with trends, so his wardrobe currently holds a lot of snapbacks and sneakers, though for the most part he has always preferred clean, white clothes. Personality Halil isn't unlikable, but he's close. Smart-mouthed and cocky, Halil is the type of person who can deflect anything with a snide remark or undercutting joke. Back in Pakistan, Halil had a number of friends who followed him loyally, though most of their activities involved trying to get older cousins to buy them alchohol and smoking behind their school. Halil isn't much of a bully, preferring to focus his energy on girls and parties, but he's certainly a smartass. Aside from his ill-mannered armor of cynicism, Halil is a fairly conflicted young man. Coming from Sylhet, Bangladesh, Halil has the typical viewpoints of a conservative Muslim, while adhering to very few of his religious laws. Halil does not eat pork, prays twice a day, and typically has a less-than-favorable view of homosexuals, nonmuslims, and the west. In spite of this, Halil frequently smokes and drinks with his friends, asks for new possessions during his prayers, skips school, and is as far from humble as he can be. Though he knows he lacks discipline, this is his biggest insecurity, as he views himself as a disciplined leader to his friends. Backstory Halil was born in Bangladesh, where he has proudly lived all of his life. Halil's family is very wealthy, with his father having helped found one of Bangladesh's first national banks after the country seceded from Pakistan. His life has been one of relative luxury, especially considering the extremely impoverished conditions of other parts of his homeland, and has afforded him a more sheltered upbringing than most. Halil's life has largely been the same ever since he was born, with few ups or downs to mention other than the deaths of a few grandparents on his extended family tree. He had the same two friends growing up, with the three of them frequently finding themselves in trouble for small discrepancies in the neighborhood.
