Speaking of diplomacy, I was toying with the idea of Elwood being good friends with some of the witches, thus their groups being on good terms. Witches are allowed to come and go through Manhattan as they please, without the gargoyles breathing down their necks.

Vampires are explicitly forbidden within the gargoyle turf, so says Elwood. Werewolves are kind of iffy, and trolls are a treated with suspicion.
