Well first of all your character I'd a still growing teen, so the power won't be as strong as it co u ld be once they're a fully matured adult. Secondly I'm kicking around the idea of a random assignment of powers. If one were to stumble upon super powers you don't usually get to choose what you get. Only makes sense to not get to choose your power here. 

I'm leaving that open for debate though. If people really don't like it we can let you design your own. I'm heading home from work right now so I'll come back and give you a list of the powers the characters have in the book version of this story as examples.
