This will start out with players as a fresh, untested cell of Acolytes under an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor, so the first few missions will be mostly unconnected with a larger plot. There'll be some hints to things to come, but you won't really see the plot threads start to form until around rank 4.

For character creation at the base rulebook and Inquisitors handbook will be available, but Adepta Sororitas are off limits at the beginning. Other than that it's standard first level character creation.

There'll be five character slots but if the fifth one is taking too long to fill up we'll start with four.

Also feel free to start working on and run characters by me at any point, either in PM or on the thread.

I can't really blame anyone for not being interested because of that, no. My reasons for disappearing are frankly not something I'm particularly comfortable sharing with strangers on the internet though. So if that means this doesn't take off, then w/e.

@Little Mx Inferno How serious is this campaign expected to be? on a scale of 1 (Absolute lolcow) to 10 (no fun allowed) this is because I had a great character in mind, but I want to know how serious we're expected to be, so I don't bring a gimmick character to a serious game, or vice versa

Also. is this a good character idea: A Feral worlder was taken from his homeland and forced into life as a librarian. known only as "Conan the Librarian" and was made into a inquisitor after single-handledly beating up a Lesser Daemon with his fists.

Okay, well, it'd probably be like a 7. The character idea is a bit too silly for it, also Dark Heresy characters are acolytes of the Inquisition, essentially just regular (although very skilled) people who are sent in to investigate Inquisitorial business that the Inquisitor him or herself doesn't want to deal with. The rulebook explains it all quite well, and gives some good inspiration for character ideas.
