As he began to sign a memory of her father teaching her to sign popped into her head, then one of her and her grandmother signing to each other since her grandmother had lost hearing in both ears and sight in one eye. She then refocused on the guy in front of her before signing back to him, her signing obviously a bit rough as she hadn't used it in a while.
