Go ahead and PM me. Your character is Intelligent, a Woodsman, and a Tactician. If I feel your ideas befit those traits, I'll give you an answer. I may have you present the idea to the Council since traps CAN hurt innocents if they're placed poorly.

Okay, so let's also start discussing actions for this season.

@Jangel13 wants to build actual walls, not joke walls. That'd provide you folks with some fortification but would cost either 150 goods for a stone wall or 50 goods to expand upon and improve the wooden fortifications Clan Aonghus has. (You don't have an awesome wall, but you do have something very basic to protect the innermost part of the village.)

@Wernher was going to have Eliz lead an adventuring party alongside another clan if possible, potentially the Stormcallers. This would require a test of diplomacy, and you'd either have to pay them or promise them a share of whatever spoils are had... or something else. You're planning an adventure to Stormpeak, IIRC.

Do we have any more plans for this turn?


In all seriousness, we do need to build a wall. Trump should have been born in this RP rather than IRL.

We do need a wall however we do not have the resources for that. So instead I have a plan for us to have traps and put in stakes for the defenses I have knowledge and I have the woodsman skill along with tactician I can set up the traps but I need someone else to join in making the stakes so we can get both done in one turn

I talked it over with Jangel. The traps he's talking about will be effective when you have forewarning for an attack, specifically. If you're surprised, you set up no traps.

I would join you, but sadly my character is blind. That wouldn't play out very well. And I am already going to pursue some trade

As I said in PM: you can complete all the defenses in two turns. That's perfectly fine as each season lasts 2 turns, and nobody really raids during the Rain season (the current season).

EDIT: It looks like only two people still need to post this week.

Feel free to RP about what you're doing / planning on doing this week, folks. If you'd rather just let me write the results of your actions next turn, I can do that.

Also, I have a question for everyone:

Do you want Sacred Time to happen twice a year? This would mean we'd have Sacred Time every 6 real-time weeks rather than every 12.

EDIT 2: Also, I'm enjoying reading your posts, folks. Nice writing all around.
