Damascus sat in the armored vehicle as it continued to drive. He was keeping quiet most of the ride there. With some of his nerves returning, causing him to shift in seat some, his back was slightly aching from all the sitting he had been doing today. Looking down at the ground at his feet, trying to pay attention to all the sounds around him, since he couldn't really see too well outside, not that it really mattered either way. Though the incredibly loud music that was turned on, drowning out any attempt to focus. Which he found kind of obnoxious, but remaining silent. He wouldn't chastise his superior after all, his girlfriend would probably kill him. Growing a little restless, sitting close to so many strangers for so long. Damascus preferred being alone in most situations, being surrounded by people he didn't know was a particular experience he never really enjoyed. But he simultaneously realized this was his Squad. So he'd probably be spending a consider amount of time with them. Plus his girlfriend would more than likely get on his case, if he acted unfriendly towards his fellow colleges. So after one the cadets, a wolf, introduced himself saying his full name and greeted the rest of them. Damascus looked upward trying to smile politely. “You can all call me Damien.” He responded doing his best to not make it sound like a demand. Knowing if anyone called him by his actual name he'd probably do something he would later regret and the last thing he wanted to do was get himself into trouble on his first day. Damascus looked down and just waited for them to arrive. To him the faster they could get out of here, the better. Not paying attention to his surroundings very well, as he instead was thinking of what he would say to his girlfriend. Trying to think a good joke to make her laugh, hearing some more voices chattering. But didn't really listen what others where saying, not purposefully, he was simply letting himself get too easily distracted. Which as soon as he felt the vehicle no longer moving, he looked up to suddenly notice officers were already leaving outside. With the doors in the back of the vehicle wide open, cursing inaudibly under his breath and quickly unstrapping himself. Damascus followed their exit, hopping out and heading to police headquarters. Seeing how massive the building was, deciding it would be best to just behave like he didn't miss a single thing. Though judging by how fast they must have been going, seeing how far away some of the others were. He had a feeling something serious was taking place, picking up his pace to avoid being left behind and since he was a generally fast runner, he caught up pretty quickly to the rest of them.
