Alyssa made it over to her seat happily,  the corners of her mouth curled into a content smile.  Kimberly was her new...girlfriend...That thought alone warmed her.  Sure,  she couldn't shout it from the rooftops like she may have wanted to,  or even tell her little sister,  but that would change with time.  For now she simply had to endure,  and that wouldn't be hard considering there was alot to look forward to.  Growing closer,  talking,  sweet nothings,  learning more about each other,  and maybe even a few kisses along the way.

[color=92278f]"Yup, yup.  I call not the very back at least!"[/color]  She called out to Riley as her friend left to pick up her car.

She gave Kim a small wave as she stepped into the cafe.  Kim had stayed a couple of nights at Riley's BNB, and she seemed nice,  even...flirted with her?  No,  more like joked when she'd offered her services as a guide through the town and local woods.  'I don't need a pretty guide holding my hand'  God she'd blushed!  [color=92278f]"If you ever want that tour let me know when I'm on duty Ms. Hanson."[/color]

Alyssa quietly looked around while Kimmy chatted with people nearby.  Kimmy was flirty,  but that was mostly ok,  after all it was one of the things Alyssa liked about her.  She felt a touch lonely,  but she'd be fine.  Kimmy's voice suddenly halted,  which caught Alyssa's attention.  She was looking at some woman who'd just come in.

[color=92278f]"Nope,  I don't think so."[/color]  Alyssa looked over at her.

She looked the woman over,  slim,  angular feature,  a little pretty she guessed.  The strange woman turned to face her,  revealing a set of striking violet eyes.  Now that was an interesting feature,  she'd only ever seen one other set of violet eyes in her tenure here on earth.  She realized that they were making eye contact,  and there was something...assertive about the woman's gaze.  A calm confidence of sorts,  something she'd always strived for.

Alyssa held the woman's gaze for what was probably an inappropriate amount of time before breaking into a smile.  Might as well break the ice right?  A little unavoidable at this point.  Approaching the woman she introduced herself cheerily.  [color=92278f]"Hi,  I'm Alyssa.  I don't think I've seen you around here before.  Your eyes really are striking,  so I'm sorry if I stared a little."[/color]

She heard a honk from outside,  Riley was waiting.   [color=92278f]"Oh, sorry, my ride's here.  If I see you around again you'll have to tell me your name ok?"[/color]  She cast one more grin over her shoulder before heading to the car.  [color=92278f][i]She seems interesting,  calm,  collected.  Maybe I can learn something from her.[/i][/color] Alyssa thought.
