Cassandra shook her head,[color=bc8dbf] "No, I can't not do things because it would make me uncomfortable, Sophie. I'll never get anywhere if I do that. I'll be okay, as long as I don't fall"[/color] She said, trying to sound bright and that she was ready for this.[color=bc8dbf] "I can handle myself, besides, I think Charlie doesn't really have eyes for me, you know?" [/color]She gave Sophie a smile. Not that many people did-While Cassandra had struggled, even briefly, with her sexuality, she had come to terms quite quickly with the fact that she liked both sexes, but those first few weeks of attraction had probably made her seem like an odd ball to many prospective partners. 

Besides, those she liked as more then friends probably wouldn't want to be anymore then simply friends. It was easier to just be friends then make a whole mess out of it.

Despite what she had said, Cassandra somehow managed to merely do what Sophie suggested, unable to make herself go up to someone and ask what they wanted. [i]I guess I can cross of waitress as a future career to support myself through college. And Cashier. Basically anything that involves human contact. So everything. Maybe something with Animals then[/i] Shaking her head at herself, Cassie continued to do what she could in the cafe.
