I feel like First Years wouldn't know anyone yet unless they are in a similar situation like Ava, who visited New York and slept on her brother's bed (or if they actually live in NY).

King is a Second Year. He could have potentially saw Ava's live audition at Washington Square Park (her flash mob). I don't know if you want to go any further than that. Since she only visits for a short amount of time.

If the position is open, a drunkard senior is being made and will need to live somewhere haha. xD If Jasper ends up being King's roomie, you might know Ava a bit more. However, he is a senior and it might be more realistic for Malcolm to room with them. 

I'm indifferent either way.
