The star shard is well, a bit random. It teleports people when it wants to wherever it wants. Disney castle has plenty of Gummy Ships Max might "borrow" that would be more reliable, and less high-risk if he got caught with it. I dont require you to use the gummy ships, I just would rather leave the star shard decision to anybody who plays Mickey, if anybody wants to.
