She had actually started sweating from the tension and that was just gross. She waited there for a second, looking over at kiyo out of her peripheral vision, trying to do something during the awkward silence when there was the sound of something heavy falling. Melanie whipped her head around and heard someone’s voice. Having not been close to anyone in her class, she didn’t very well recognize him just by his voice, but it did sound familiar. ”Really Raph I don’t need help standing.” Great. Not only did Alex fall, but the quick reaction made it seem as if he might have been doing something he shouldn’t. Well, I guess you could say following two people into the girl's’ dorm was something along the lines that he shouldn’t do. Then to make things worse another person showed up and wanted to help him up. Alex reluctantly took the guy’s hand just to not seem to rude. Then Raph smacked him on the back. *Geez that was so obvious.* Alex had been bullied for so long he almost had a sixth sense to when things were on his back. The two boys turned around the corner and Melanie was astonished to see that it was Raphael and Alex. One, why were they in the girls’ dorms? That was positively iniquitous! If Melanie herself had seen this four odd ball group she would have reported them all to the principal’s office, boys in the girls’ dorm and cutting class. Secondly, the girl hadn’t seen head or tails of Raphael all morning, barely remembering seeing his name on the seating chart. Mrs. Castro might end up throwing a fit and no one wanted that. Both Kiyoshi and Raphael sometimes scared the glasses wearing girl, they were extremely perceptive and that couldn’t be good when it came to all the feelings she kept bottled up on a daily basis. Alex decided not to deal with the paper on his back now and when they walked over to Melanie and Kiyo he just walked to the other side of the hall and leaned on the wall to hide it instead. He thought to himself, *Wonder why the heck we’re even here. I think that’s Darian’s room. Can’t just be checking up on those absent from class otherwise Kiyo wouldn’t be here.* Then Raph started taping the same papers he probably placed on Alex all over the door, *Not at all overboard. Nooooo. Not at all.* So suddenly the two boys walked up to Darian’s door. Then without a word, Alex headed for the wall opposite. The evil wench still hadn’t opened it and Melanie couldn’t help but get even more antsy. Raphael quickly excused himself before taping enough fliers to completely cover her door. Something that would have made Melanie giggle back when she was younger. After he finished, he gave Kiyoshi a quick hug, she had forgotten that the two of them were so close. What was that about? Something to do with the key of D? A-Anyway... Melanie still didn’t understand why he was here, “Raphael, you didn’t come to class today.” She kept her voice strictly neutral... until Raphael put a hand on her shoulder, that is. She took a few seconds, he had said something along the lines of her not dying, when she got her feelings of- oh my gosh, uncomfortable, uncomfortable, uncomfortable! -under control, she took a step away, Raphael’s hand slipping off as she got out of range. The awkwardness that followed was staggering, she had just blatantly pulled away from the other male and that couldn’t have been good for his self-esteem. When Melanie made the knock, Kiyoshi took a step back and folded his arms, waiting for the door to open. His eyes wandered around the dorm halls, fairly similar to the boys dorms, though the curtains in the windows seemed nicer for some reason. He took in every nook and cranny, every line from the wood grain in the decorations, until out of the corner he spotted something yellow. Turning his full attention to it, he saw another student, look up and in a state of panic, trip and fall face first into the floor; so it looks like he and Mel had a follower. Make it two when Raphael came over to assist the fallen student. Kiyo smiled at his friend a neutral smile, glad to see a familiar and knowing face, but not so giddy he had to jump for joy about it. When L finally did notice him, the two exchanged a hug, Kiyo’s arms lying limp at his sides as he accepted what was happening before giving a light pat on L’s back. Breaking off, Kiyo signed to him, ”(Sup, L?)” glad to give his fingers a little flex instead of typing on the damnable keypad of his phone. After witnessing L post up flyers to cover Darian’s door from top to bottom and suggestion of what song he wanted to work on, Kiyo’s face scrunched up slightly. He didn’t particularly like Darian and despite knowing exactly why L liked Darian, he still couldn’t fathom why he liked Darian. Giving a small shrug, he signed to him, ”(We can work on it later, sure.)” Despite all that he was still Kiyo’s friend. L gave Melanie a glance of curiosity as she flew away from him, wondering why she was so skittish. Then his head moved towards Kiyo’s form, whose hands moved to sign a message to him. Oh yeah. Kiyo was mute. Raphael had a bad habit of forgetting his friend’s disability, which never ceased to make him feel awful. Thinking about, Melanie and Kiyo were here together, for some reason, and L had never once really seen them interact. Perhaps... (“Are you dating Melanie now? She seems really into you.”) he signed to his friend, giving him a playful nudge. If the quiet lady was dating Kiyo, it would make sense why she moved away from his touch. However, his sign language was god awful, so it was a tossup as to whether or not Kiyo would even understand it. Generally, he tried to make up things if he forgot a word, which consisted of more vulgar motions. For example, when he mentioned that Melanie seemed into him, he put his right pointer finger through an O he made with his left hand. At least he was trying. Kiyo’s eyebrow raised higher as his friend attempted to communicate with him. L was fairly decent with his signing, but had a habit of trying to make up his own words using different gestures and motions. Something about him and Melanie...doing it? The look of disappointment was quite palpable on his face as he simply signed back ”(No.)” They seemed to be having some kind of private conversation in front of her. It made sense that Raphael would know a little bit of sign language considering they were best friends. But Melanie had never learned the language of gestures. She had studied French, German, and Russian, and could write out at least simple sentences in each language, though, speaking it was a whole other matter. Melanie would have to borrow a book from the library later that day... After the bathrooms of course.

The door finally did open and from inside, one could see the two girls in rather compromised outfits. For the love of everything holy... Darian was barely wearing two pieces of undergarments that looked almost all the way undone, and Gigi looked rather rustled up too. The bleached blonde leaned against the door and gave Melanie quite the invitation. H-How... Again, Melanie wasn’t the violent type, but she couldn’t help but clench the bottom of her blazer. S-She was a vixen! And it didn’t seem that the raven-haired girl had been able to save Gigi from her clutches, if Gigi’s clothing had anything to say about it. Her eyes widened at such a foreign invitation, though no one could tell if it was fear, shock, or a mixture of both. Whatever it was made her feel chills all through her body. She stood there frozen, glancing over at Kiyoshi for help. There was a long list of things Kiyoshi didn’t want to see in the world and ‘Darian Greene in nothing but her undergarments’ was nowhere on that list. Surprisingly the boy didn’t blush heavily at the sight of the near nude woman, he felt more disgusted than anything, though he knew L was probably having the exact opposite of a reaction right now. He observed the brief exchange between Darian and Melanie and saw her flustered and flushed face slowly grow more heated. It looked like she was almost frozen in time, unsure of what to do, it wasn’t until she looked to him that Kiyo had to raise an eyebrow. Two thoughts raced through his mind, one, ‘Now she wants my help.’ Second, what was he even supposed to do to remedy this situation anyway? He stared at her dead on and raised his shoulders and arms in a ‘What do you want me to do about this?’ sort of manner. Kiyo digested what was in front of him so far, Darian Greene, nearly naked, Gigi, visible behind the girl on her bed, looking quite disheveled. The way he saw it, the two had a good time...a really good time. Was he to ask Darian to give Gigi’s innocence back? (if it wasn’t already gone before today) As far as he was concerned, he was only interested in finding Gigi, and really only because Melanie was more interested in finding Gigi, beyond that he was here for entertainment. Darian wearing about 5% clothing didn’t constitute for that, but everyone’s reaction to that percentage was at least enough to convince him to stay. If nothing else, Melanie looked like she was on the verge of breaking down, if he came back alone, there could be questions, questions he could easily avoid answering truthfully on any other day; but not for this, not this day. So there Kiyoshi stood, arms folded, waiting for the next part of the story to unfold. Uh, okay. What the heck. Alex definitely was not expecting to see a partially naked Darian Green ever let alone behind door number one. Indicated by the sign on the door put there by said partially naked person. Then he heard her invite Melanie. That was even less expected. Darian had no shame at all. He felt sorry for whatever sucker was deeper in the room. He didn't want to know cause he didn't want to let bias affect whoever it was if he ever spoke with them. Still though there was that curiosity of who the unlucky girl was. Was it some freshmen who Darian ensnared into her claws? Maybe some upperclassmen who just wanted to say they had done it. Could just as easily been a past lover of Darian's. Either way, Alex felt the person had a severe lack of judgement on this one. After the embarrassment from earlier and the odd outburst at Roza, Alex wasn't thinking straight and actually said something without thinking it through for a change though, “Honestly, can't believe I followed these two for this. Thought something interesting was finally happening in this crappy place only to find a witch has confirmed another tally on her hit list. So, Green, what brat did you tag this time. Must have a sorrier life than mine to want to be screwed by someone as lame as you.” As Alex finished his sentence though instant shock went through him. *What the crap did I just do. Why did I say that. Fricken stupid. Hope whoever is in there didn't hear me say that. Even worse, Darian definitely heard me. She will never get off my back for that remark. Crap, I am a stinking idiot.* Being strong wasn’t easy. As much as Genevieve wanted to take this joke to the next level, the sight of Melanie’s reaction hurt to see. Was it that bad to have sex? To have sex with Darian? To be ‘innocent’ was quite subjective. Everyone had this perfect little view of her. Do they realize how frustrating it was to live by everyone else’s standards but her own? And then… adding icing to the cake… Alex said incredibly mean things. Gigi didn’t even know he was there, but hearing his voice made her want to cry. Did she really need that many people to save her? Her expression stood stoic, not giving away the pain her chest felt from this entire scene unraveling. Why? Why were they so judgmental? Even angry people deserved to be loved or was that some strange fantasy Gigi believed in? That everyone had some good in them, especially Darian. Biting her tongue to hold her words back, Gigi’s stare glazed over, thinking about Alex’s words, over and over, in her head. I’m… I’m a brat? For ‘having sex’ with the bad girl of the school? That makes me a brat? Darian… isn’t that bad… and even if she was, she’s still a human. Why-why were they so harsh? Sadly, this made an unwanted darkness creep into Gigi’s mind of her abandonment issues and fears in general. She needed to get out of here.

Upon seeing the practically nude form of Darian, L’s jaw dropped and his dark orbs went wide with surprise. His thoughts dispelled any more assumptions about Melanie and Kiyo, focused solely on her delectable body. The succubus before him was of the top most tier, a succulent treat for the eyes, yet he knew not why she stood there unclothed. However, a fleeting glance past her and he spotted the worn out Jenny on the lovely D’s bed. Apparently Darian had really put her through the ringer. At once, he was flooded with the tendrils of lust, his nether regions tingling with excitement. That was when he realized he should not have worn baggy cargo pants on account of the fact that Darian and her lover had awoken
Beelze the Ultimate Diabolic Dragon.
’BWHAHAHA I HAVE RISEN ONCE MORE, FOOLISH MORTAL!’ ’No, man! Not here! Nooo!’ ’Hm? Why not? There’s two hot girls right there that have clearly been sexually active. I have every right to be here.’ ’Yeah, but it’s awkward since… you know, everybody is staring now.’ ’Haha, yeah that’s hilarious. Sucks for you. Either way, I’m going to stick around for about 5, maybe 10 minutes.’ ’DAMN YOU TO HELL, TEENAGE HORMONES! DAMN YOU!’ Snapping back to reality, Raphael quickly covered his lower extremities with his fliers, although it didn’t really help to hide the fact. Flustered and embarrassed, his pasty white skin seemed to radiate a pale crimson flush. Then tension swelled in the hallway as Alex escalated the situation by calling the beautiful, wilting rose out on her scandalous escapade, something L didn’t really think was any of their business. The woman could sleep with who she wanted, when she wanted so long as the other party was willing and ready, and, judging by Jenny’s posture, it seemed the usually innocent girl was completely willing to partake in Darian’s games. Alas, these continuously dirty thoughts did nothing to calm the hormonal storm that rampaged inside him. ”Um… You wanna do some slam poetry to vent your emotions?” he asked, still unsure of why all these people came to Darian’s room in the first place. Unfortunately, the reference to slam poetry was in poor taste, considering what his fliers were attempting to cover. When she opened the door, Darian didn’t expect to see nearly half the people that she wound up seeing. Melanie she could understand being brave, or perhaps foolish, enough to come barging up to the door on some sort of crusade to save the ‘innocent’ damsel Gigi, but the others? She didn’t even want to begin to imagine what brought them here or the implications of practically flashing her classmates would lead to - though all things considered it was unlikely they would think anything less of her...company of Raphael excluded, obviously. Still, Darian remained confident and collected as she leaned herself against her doorway, arms crossed under her chest and unlit cigarette playfully dangling from her lips. There was much to take in, from Melanie’s awkward expression to the..entire presence of Kiyoshi, but Darian opted to focus on the two more immediately pressing matters, namely the rather vocal tirade of one Alex or ‘fuckin’ nerd’ as she so eloquently referred to him and the...awkward presence of Raphael. Darian wasn’t stupid nor was she oblivious and even the vision impaired could tell that the guy had a crush on her. Darian was anything but flattered at the gesture, but she let the awkwardness of his poor attempt to hide an otherwise normal reaction slide. The last thing she wanted to do was draw attention to the fact that a tent was being pitched in her name, for all she knew that would just give the guy some sort of hope. Instead she clicked the roof of her mouth, as she frequently did when faced with matters that annoyed her. Or, in this particular instance, pissed her off. She didn’t have to take that, not from some fuckin’ nerd. ”Wanna say that again, huh?” she spoke up, speaking to Alex with a very clear angry tone of voice, ”Who are you to tell me who I can or can’t sleep with? Fuck’s it matter to you anyway, just because you ain’t gettin’ any don’t mean you can take it out on me. For the record, this ‘brat’ had a fuckin’ fantastic time, ain’t that right, Gigi?” Darian cocked her head back, bringing the baker into the conversation; there was no getting around the fact that she was part of this. ”But it’s fine. I warped her mind because I’m a little deviant witch, so don’t hold it against her for having prime taste in partners.” Darian further stirred the pot, though was willing to take the heat for Gigi’s reputation. ”Unless you’re here to pull a Gigi, Mel, you all can leave. Might wanna get Raphael out of here before all his blood rushes to his head. And I ain’t talkin’ about where the brain’s at.” Darian smiled with a smug sort of satisfaction to it. ”Open offer, Melanie. I’d take it if I were you. Just ask your friend Gigi, she’ll vouch.” At this point, Darian was just enjoying pressing for further reactions. That was largely the point to begin with.

Genevieve’s lips stayed tightly closed as Darian continued the act, adding more fuel to the fire. In this moment, Gigi could not get upset at her, even if she wanted to. Mostly everything the dark skinned woman said was right. She was right. Her point of their entire argument had been validated just by their classmates reactions. There didn’t need to be a: HA! I told you so, because it was blatantly clear. People only cared about their own opinions and feelings, no one ever tried to stop and understand. Standing up from the bed, rather apathetically, Gigi grabbed her bag and slowly glided beside Darian. Her sea green gaze was dark and unreachable, as it met with Melanie’s blue orbs. L’s ‘happy’ friend didn’t even bother her. She was in an area of her mind that disregarded all her surroundings. Not responding to Darian, but bringing back L’s comment about ‘slam poetry’, Gigi looked at all those around her, a more foreboding nature surrounding her. Something no one has ever witnessed. “I’d love to say a short poem.” Her voice was not the cheery Gigi everyone knew and loved. There was no telling how she felt. Was she sad? Angry? Confused? Her monotone voice continued... “Labeling those With all sincerity Say But do, Hypocrites. We’re all actors In this STUPID game. Am I the perfect human?" And with that, Gigi walked through the group of close minded individuals (minus Raphael) to get to her room. She didn’t care anymore. Why did Darian have to make her own self look bad just to save the baker’s rep? Being near them only made her depressed. This situation couldn’t have gotten any worse. As she walked and Alex was right in front of her, her deadpan glare looked right through him like he wasn’t even there. Walking around him, she left the chaos behind and stormed off to her room. Who cares what they think? Who cares what anyone thinks… All these things happening made Melanie feel dizzy. Alex had said some pretty horrible things, something she never probably would have utter for fear she would ruin someone’s security with their own self. Sure, Melanie was still a bit infuriated by the evil wench’s kiss from earlier, but she wasn’t going to say anything to the person, even if they were close like Gigi. The look on Gigi’s face... It felt like chains had wrapped around her heart and squeezed the essence out of it. Her eyes seemed so done with everyone around her, and the thought that Melanie had hurt the baker only made her feel worse. Memories cascaded through her head of her childhood. The happy times all being stained with cruelty and hurt. Fake friends... what even was a true friend? A healthy relationship? Apparently Melanie had crossed a line on the unwritten friendship contract. W-What did Gigi think of her now? Gigi had been the one she felt closest to in her life right now, and she had unknowingly sabotaged her relationships again. Melanie’s hand went to her heart, her eyes not tearing away from Gigi until she passed out of sight. It seemed almost immediately after she was out of eyesight, Melanie’s legs collapsed, the raven-haired girl fell to her knees. Some form of panic attack was enveloping her and her mouth clenched in almost a silent scream. Her brain blocked out everything surrounding her as she remembered her harsh reality from the past Raphael really felt the emotion in Jenny’s poem, the harsh story of social stigma hidden within her lines. However, there was more to it than that, he could tell. Somewhere in that tiny, tiny girl, a festering darkness lay.”Man, you guys really fucked up.” he commented, shaking his head in disappointment. All of sudden, Melanie fell to her knees, bewildering the pale, young man. Blinking in confusion, he finally felt his arousal disappear. Nobody should be turned on by a situation like that! ”Um… Does she have medical issues? We should probably get her to the nurse before she dies.” Kiyoshi watched as the story unfolded, like a long row of janky dominos, the situation only seemed to go from bad to worse for everyone. Melanie shut frozen, Darian nearly naked, L dealing with ‘man issues’, Alex’s inability to keep his opinions to himself, and finally Gigi’s look of complete dejection. In the middle of it all stood the mute, silently observing everything falling into place, it wasn’t until Melanie collapsed to her knees that his brain woke up. It was probably best to go at this point, but he couldn’t leave the raven haired girl here, she was, in the thinnest form possible, technically his responsibility since he wandered the halls with her. Sighing a breathless sigh he ignored everyone else and crouched in front of the young woman. She didn’t seem to respond to touch well, and snapping his fingers in front of her face seemed like it might be too much of a shock, so he clicked his tongue loudly to get her attention. Following his friend’s actions, L also kneeled next to Melanie although he was not the most qualified to be playing doctor in this scenario. Kiyo, on the other hand, seemed to know what he was doing, so the black clad boy simply tried to assist the mute as best he could. ”Hey, hey… Melanie... Everything is gonna be okay, alright?” his voice was soft and concerned, and a hand went out and lightly stroked the back of her hair, trying to comfort her as much as he possibly could. Things had really gotten crazy in the matter of seconds, and Raphael hadn’t a single clue why. He went from pinning up ads around the school to lusting after a half-naked Darian to presently attempting to help Melanie cope with whatever she was going through. What a day. *Great. Now I have to listen to Darian’s retort. Friken I’m so dumb. Gave her more things to use against me.* Then Darian said a name, *What?* Then Darian reinvited Melanie and said Gigi’s name again, *No.* Yet, another time Darian asked Melanie to join using Gigi’s name once more, *What is going on here?* Then Gigi walked up to be beside Darian. Then she said some poetry. Key words to Alex were, … Hypocrites … Stupid … perfect human. When she walked past him he didn’t even know what to think. Different questions starting with what. What did I just do? What even happened? Melanie was shaking unconsciously, her brain beating against her own skull. She didn’t see Kiyoshi or feeling Raphael rubbing the back of her hair, her eyes out of focus and silent tears starting to stream. It was a surprise that no one could hear her high racing heartbeat from a foot away with how loud it seemed. Only a few moments after Raphael had spoken, her consciousness slipped again and she fell out of reality. As Melanie toppled over, Raphael’s first instinct was to reach out and prevent her from smacking into Kiyoshi or the ground. He managed to do so, but only for a moment when he suddenly realized where his hands were: resting firmly on her chest. Now he was accidentally groping her, invoking an unwanted sense of perversion in him. Panicking, L’s grip on the girl failed and she ended up hitting Kiyoshi anyway. ”Let’s… not tell her about that.” he murmured. The last thing he needed was a sexual assault charge. Suddenly the girl’s eyes closed and her body slumped forward, straight into Kiyoshi. His face flushed from the sudden and surprise contact, he didn’t expect her to faint from all this, but maybe the stress from the situation overwhelmed her? Whatever caused her to pass out, Kiyoshi didn’t think it necessary to bring her to the school infirmary, no, she probably just needed some rest. Alex just stood there for a few moments. He didn’t even hear what Raph said. Despite seeing Melanie fall to her knees it hadn’t even registered in his mind. He had finally said something to Darian. After so long of people thinking he was a coward for not standing up to him self and the one time he said anything to the girl he had ruined everything else. Despite all that had just happened a slight smirk appeared on his face, “Heh. The irony of it all. People constantly telling me to stand up for myself and the one time you don’t say anything to me and I say junk about you I also screw up. She probably hates me now. Probably you all do. I’m just a screw-up. The fricken nerd who can’t do anything but ruin things. I guess it’s what I deserve. Anytime I speak what is inside my head someone gets hurt. You know Greene. Despite all that crap I just said about you I’m the one who hurts people. I guess I’ll see y’all around. Maybe.” Finishing his monologue Alex turned and headed for the exit. Even if anyone said something to him he wasn’t gonna listen. Not like they would he was just a screw-up who could only ruin things. He left the dorm and couldn’t think of where to go. So he just walked. He hopped over the fence and just walked. He needed to think. Then he needed to - what? What could he do. There was no way he could repair the damage he caused. No way. Kiyoshi didn’t fully pay attention to the self-pity party that Alex was throwing, more concerned with the suddenly unconscious person pressing her body weight into him. The mute boy looked to his friend, then up at Darian, before looking back down at Melanie. He needed to get her to her room, he wouldn’t expect L to know, but maybe Darian did? They were in the same building after all. He pulled out his phone and started typing a message before looking back up at Darian, ”Where’s her room?” Darian merely rolled her eyes as the ‘nerd’ left in dramatic fashion. What did she care? If the most he took away from it was not to make snap judgments then it’s a lesson well learned, though she had her doubts that it would change anyone’s mind in regards to herself. Nor did she care, her reputation was so dirty that no amount of cleansing could ever change that. Darian, surprisingly, felt rather morally victorious with how the events played out, Gigi’s wounded pride aside. Who would have thought that a simple harmless prank would have such reaching consequences; probably the same people who would have thought that Darian could somehow come out of a bad situation looking like a rose in comparison. But there was a saying about roses and thorns, wasn’t there? There was one lingering annoyance to deal with, however, as for the second time in one day a girl had fainted in front of her room. That was far from ordinary. ”Look, just put her inside,” Darian sighed in annoyance as she tilted her head towards her own room, keeping the comment that she was now ‘used to it’ to herself for very obvious reasons, ”Or I’ll do it in case you’re all afraid that you’ll catch cooties or something. And don’t worry, I’m not going to do anything. I don’t know where her fuckin’ room is and a couple of guys dragging around an unconscious girl in the girl’s dormitory ain’t gonna work out for you too well. Put her on my bed, get the fuck out, and clean those ads off my door.” At that particular moment in time, the only thing Darian wanted to do was to end this increasingly awkward situation as soon as possible.

Sometime later… Closing her door and locking it, the baker shuffled her way to her bed and flopped on it. Now inside the comfort of her bedroom, the tears began to flood out of her eyes. Picking up her phone, Gigi texted Beryl, one of the few people left in the dark. To: Wizard Tutor! :D [@RiverMaiden] Hey. I fainted after our talk… I’m okay now. Can you bring my homework after school? I really don’t want to see anyone else. Putting her phone aside, the young girl shoved her face in her pillow. After she was done with a good crying session, she needed to email Mrs. Castro about missing the first day of classes. At a point after the little prank had ended, a slip of paper was slid under Gigi’s door. The contents of the letter were brief and were practically scribbled in haste. ‘SORRY. GOOD LUCK ON CAMPAIGN. DOOR’S ALWAYS OPEN.’ it remained unsigned but it was hardly anonymous.
