Earth Crystal boss I run Tiz (Normal/Swordmaster) Agnes (black/white Mage) Ringabel (Rose Knight/Summoner) Edea (Knight/Fencer)
So, one thing about that boss, is that he is undead, so healing magic, cast on him does wonders. Another thing is its stat boosts can be dispelled, forcing him to recast it. I see Edea has Spell fencer, use holy, which will vastly increase her damage. Also, if you can, enter with everyone's Special filled, and spam those special moves at the beginning for a good start. Other then that, keep using your strongest attacks. I should mention that the Ninja class pairs well with Swordmaster, due to ninja being able to force the enemy to target a unit, (ie self) then use the counter ablities from swordmaster. Biggest things to watch out for is his quake, death, slam and his self stat boosts. Simply revive dead units for the insta kill, if you want to be cautious, equip Agnes with a Safety Ring, which nullifies intant death. Good armor will help reduce damage from Slam. Stat boosts can be dispelled, do so every 3~4 turns Quake is earth, so Earth Charms (sold in Hartschild) or the Swordmaster support ability Abate Earth can decrease its damage. If you still struggle, then you should grind. Change Someone to a Vakyrie Class, give them the 2handed augment and the best spear you can afford. Set the encounter rate to +100% and run around like crazy. Once battle happens, default everyone except for the Valkyrie. For them, Brave twice, and spam the skill Cresent Moon. Hit auto, and repeat. After awhile, you will build up the 1-turn, Unscathed, and Multi Kill combos (if the enemy doesn't get first strike). A few more questions: Is this the first time you have met this boss? Have you been diligently clearing side quests and getting the jobs? You should have all but 3 (I think) by this time. What level are they, and what is the average job level? What difficulty level are you playing at?
