[@21308] Pffft, sounds more like an Arabic stereotype than a Kurdish one ("They always sound so angry!" kind of thing), but I can get how people would have that impression if they met Kurdish parents, lmao. Sometimes when I'm speaking Kurdish in public people ask what language it is and they usually say something like 'Ah I thought it was Arabic at first but it sounds much more softer so I didn't think it was' after they ask 'What's Kurdish?". :P

That being said, I'm talking on a western perspective when I say 'outsiders', not a middle eastern one.
