Yep someone dug me up....not bad actually. Funnily enough I was browsing some of the basic premise for this thread and it looks totally awesome. Will try to get round soonish to reading the IC stuff.

I think it's just been a busy April for everybody, chatter dimming might be disheartening but I believe we'll find something to talk about eventually. How's everyone been feeling about recent IC posts? or the new Doctor Strange trailer?

@Gowi As someone who isn't familiar with strange, looks trippy AF.

Not long till civil war though, and as someone whose seen BvS I gotta admit... I think Civil War has this one in the bag.

One of my friends described it as Inception meets Batman Begins, iirc. Which I like the sound of. As for Civil War, I think it'll be just as big of a clustered mess as Dawn of Justice, though it'll probably be more fun to watch.

Early reviews have all praised the movie's balance; sounds like it keeps a tight focus on Captain America as a through-line while giving each character at least one "spotlight" moment. I have no worries with the Russo brothers. With their television background, they're used to handling ensembles, telling an episodic story, etc.

As for my own radio silence, this is just the busiest two week stretch of my semester. By next Wednesday, I'll be in the clear through summer. However, I don't intend to sit on my hands until then, so I'm still gonna try to post ASAP.

Despite my better judgment, and intentions to avoid public games since my return to roleplaying, I have become interested in this newest Hype-style game. Its seeming stability thus far, as opposed to previous games, as well as the general activity of some of the original Hype members leaves me hopeful for the longevity of this endeavor. I also appreciate the attempt not to make the history of this world too convoluted.

Over the past twelve hours I've come up with a somewhat solid concept for Rogue, one that does not have ties to the X-Men, that I'd like to work with. In fact, just spent an hour writing out three pages front-to-back for her rough bio. Working out some finishing touches on potential early arcs and foes to encounter, however.

Before I even work up a complete character sheet, though, I will be fully reading the IC to catch up and immerse myself in this world as it has been crafted. I just wanted to note my interest here, first, and let the X-Men players know of my intent to use Rogue in advance, just in case they have plans for her.

No plans. Sad the X-Men are losing Rogue like they had lost (and might again) Wolverine, though.

I mean, no knowing what the future will hold. But my plans for the character don't rely on, or begin with, the X-peeps.

lol Trust me, I think all anybody really cares about here is that you get to play a character you enjoy, and having fun with it. <3

At the very least, I may have plans for Purifier shenanigans at some point, which, if again the X-players aren't opposed to, could potentially lead to cross-overs with the X-Men. Just thoughts in my thought-place, though.

We do have Purifier plans. Although that's still a little ways away for us (right, @Sep?), we're currently doing solo arcs, before gathering again as a team.

Ah, will have to discuss Purifer stuff with you all if/once I am accepted. I doubt my plans would cause too much of an issue with your own, though.

But, yes, for now, I've got 230 more posts to read.

EDIT: Damned typos.

Purifiers don't have much too them, I don't think there's an issue with other people using them.

Anyway I'm gonna sleep to get my Colossus post up tomorrow.
