Nikki heard the girl who had come running and yelling about walkers coming. She sprinted to the house and started yelling, "EVERYONE OUT! THE HORDE IS COMING!" She searched for the young mother and baby. She steered them towards the front and next to Ethan. "Get them out of here NOW!" Nikki ran towards the back to where Walter and the girl were. People were pouring out of the house hurriedly. "We need to slow the walkers down. Let's push the vehicles across the road. Get anything we can use to block them!" She directed a couple of people towards the broken branches just off the road. Nikki saw a few old tires off of the side of the road and staggered them on the other side of the cars along side garbage cans and other things that would be easy for tripping walkers. A couple of the older kids brought over some sturdy fencing that might be able to help to impale walkers that tripped into it and put it on the other side of the tires. Nikki watched as many of the others started to help block the road while the slower or more helpless moved on with the group while the others did what they could to lessen the impact when the horde caught up to them. There were spears that they stuck out of the windows of the vehicles as well. They blocked as much as they could. The wooded tree line on both sides of the road was going to be the biggest hindrance for the horde. Nikki signalled for everyone to be quiet. She heard it, they were coming, she looked to Walter and the others that she knew. "Let's haul ass out of here!" Nikki and the others headed towards the main group. She hung back just to make sure they all got out of there. The adrenaline was pumping so hard she didn't even notice the growling in her stomach.
