Clara Kahrin
Clara awoke from her restless sleep to the sound of the camp's horn blaring across the cabins. She groggily sat up, which led to her head crashing into the bed above her. She still wasn't used to the whole bunk-bed thing. Clara reached for the nightstand, where she laid her father's locket the previous night. She let a tear slip from her eyes, the memory of her father's death still fresh in her mind.
"Hey, Clara, you ready to go to breakfast?" Her bunk-mate asked from above.
Clara quickly regained her composure, forgetting that she now shared a room with several others. Apparently they were all half-siblings. She had found out yesterday that her mother was the goddess Athena. It came as quite a shock to learn that everything she had been taught about Greek mythology was actually true.
"Yeah, I'll meet you there." She stepped into the shoes at her bedside, and headed for the door. She was still wearing the same clothes she had on from the previous day; the camp hadn't yet provided her with any fresh clothes.
