"Eeep!" Ein squeaked out in surprise as the Dwarves suddenly made themselves shown. Zeke made not a sound but reared up and as if to strike the closest foe, but Ein recovered herself and put her hand up for Zeke to stop. He stayed still, like a statue of himself, only the crimson flames that snaked out of the myriad of cracks in his body moved. Ein slowly raised her other hand, the universal sign of 'I'm not doing anything that you should shoot me for.' "Me and Zeke here," she gave a nod to Zeke who still stood still behind her, "Came up this way to visit his birthplace for his birthday. But now we want to keep heading north. I am looking for work, Zeke is here to protect me, or anything else I tell him to do. He usually helps me on my jobs, especially with anything heavy. But we don't mean no harm!" She bashfully looked down at her feet, "I don't imagine you would want to hire me for anything?"
