Godmodder raised his eyebrow at Rose’s cheerful introduction, legitimately unsure as to whether the girl was feigning kindness out of fear of him or if she really was just that bizarrely nice, considering how badly his words seemed to shake her. The answer became clearer, though, when Leon pulled her into the kitchen and hastily shut the door. GM pursed his lips. He knew they were talking about him – probably figuring out what to do next – that much was obvious. The question was what exactly they planned to do. Would they confront him? Would they try to fight? Would they try to escape? Oooh he hoped they’d run! His visit to Kalmaysia had been mildly disappointing thus far, but watching the rats run would make it all worth it. Quietly, he pressed his ear against the door. He couldn’t hear complete sentences, only muffled words, but he got the gist. A grin spread across his face; they were planning an escape! That raised the question, then – just how would he conduct this chase? Would he run after them himself? Perhaps take on another form? No, his favorite avatar would be much too large to follow them into cramped quarters. Send one of his pets after them? Yes!! Brilliant idea! “Rin!” he called, stomping his foot on the floor. A scrawny brown wolf materialized in the room, stumbling on its clumsy legs as it appeared to be slightly disoriented. The poor thing seemed half-starved and abused, its powerful image stolen from it as it could only manage to tremble like a chihuahua in Godmodder’s presence. He crouched down next to the creature as it pressed itself against the wall, before grabbing onto its face by the jaw. “You smell the humans that were just in here, girl?” She snarled and struggled to pull her head away. “You’ll hunt them for me, riiiiight?” His eye glowed more intensely as Rin howled weakly, seemingly in pain. “Wait for the signal, though.” He ordered, eyes on the door. “Wait for the signal…”
