If we've got dragons, I think they should be rare, usually eccentric, perhaps reclusive, invariably strong as adults, and with varying opinions on humankind so they aren't just monstrous beasts that occasionally torch villages.

If they're torching a village, you can be damn sure it's because they're [i]pissed[/i].
