Eliza is absolutely confident enough to approach him on her own - but you know how it is with dating, the girl will sort of indicate she wants to start something, and it'll be up to him to really take initiative. 

I don't think Eliza is a sex-on-the-first-date kind of person. Or third date. That isn't what she's looking for.
