Name:  Melisande (Mel) Tybar
Race: Shiftress/Even mix
Gender: Female
Age: Looks to be in her early 20's however looks can be deceiving and because of her elven heritage she is older than she looks.

Current location: She works in the town of pariahs.  A few weeks ago when she was delivering some leather goods, she was ambushed and knocked unconscious.  She woke up in a strange place and the location is unknown.  

Appearance: She has pale white skin with a blue tint to it.  She has black hair and blue eyes.  She has markings on her face that get darker when she uses magic.  She usually wears a tunic over leather leggings with a wide black belt.  She favors knee high black boots that lace up.   

Skills:  She is skilled in crafting, leather working and gardening.   

Profession Leather worker.

Powers/Mastery:  included in history below.

Personality: She is a happy go lucky type of girl that rolls with the punches.  She usually doesn't anger quickly but once mad it takes a while to either let it go or forgive.  She tried to be honest and air for the most part, especially in her work.  She is friendly with all races but holds herself back from making friends due to her past and her fears. She hates the war and wishes that it could just be over already.  

History: Mel is the child of an elven mother and a shifter father.  Her mother found her father lying abandoned on a battlefield, when he was in weapon form.  He was captivate by her looks and decided that he would have her no matter what the cost.  Once she had gone to bed, he shifted back into his human form and took her by force.  While she lat dazed and in pain, he ran off and was never heard from again.  When her mother found out she was pregnant she tried to abort the child but was unable to do so.  When she finally gave birth, she saw that the child resembled her and looked elven.  She decided to raise the girl but hide her shifter heritage from her.  She trained Mel in magic and Mel excelled at it.  When Mel hit puberty, her shifter gene came into play an her mother had no choice but to tell her the truth.  Although she loved the girl, she cast Mel out so that no one in her village would know her shame and would not kill Mel.  Mel made her way to the pariah city that her mother had heard rumors aou and was taken in by a family who had lost their daughter in the war.  They taught her leather working and all her skills but were unable to help with er shifter abilities.  Her shifter abilities are very unstable.  She is a master in calling her element of lightening and can teleport small distances.  She can use some mental manipulation skills but if she is injured then she loses control of her subject.  She has had some success in transforming one body part at a time into a weapon but has no been able o make a full and complete shift into weapon form.
