Eh I really don't like the idea of a 'luck' as a tangible force. Also the idea that she drains luck from those around her isn't really an asset for the team. It'd be humorous for a bit but it'd ultimately wear thin and/or get forgotten about. Now that said, don't fret right away, with some simple re-writes this power could be essentially left in tact but in an improved state. As I don't like luck as a tangible force, I'd like to propose 'Probability Manipulation.' Now you're probably thinking, "But Wraith, that's the same thing!" Well actually it isn't! Probability is a set of pre-existing variables that surround every object and situation. When you sit on a chair the probability that it's going to collapse underneath you is very slim but it exists. If Esther was able to manipulate probability she'd be essentially able to subconsciously know and manipulate odds in her favour. She'd know where to strike in order to cause maximum damage, know what object to reach out for in order to hit a target. It'd be like a very strong sense of intuition which to most people would make her appear as lucky.
Hmm, that does sound interesting! Though, admittedly, I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with luck/probability manipulation, since I've got a character in another RP who does the same thing. Thanks for the advice though! I'm not entirely sure what power I should give her instead, though, assuming I don't stick with probability. Ideally I'd like it to relate to her name (Esther means "star", Massoud means "lucky", and Shahnaz means "pride of the king"), but the only thing that comes to mind involves going full Muslim magical girl, which I have a feeling doesn't mesh well with the tone you're going for. =P
