i'd classify seviper as 8ft 10in long. "height" in pokemon is pretty vague if you ask me. in the dex it says dunsparce are several feet tall as well, but it is depicted as always laying on it's belly not perked up like seviper. so do you think they'd make as weak a creature as dunsparce several feet thick like that? Sure a nearly 9ft long snake would be scary as hell but not as outlandish as you perceive it. I however will stick with my pokemon dex entry. 3ft 3in and 190lbs. Mika's one chunky kid, but it's all poswer. hopefully i find a pokeball fro her before she evolves or we might have a situation on our hands. A free walking 7ft 7in and 560lbs pokemon might stand out a bit. :3
Well, there is this: Which is a good deal longer than 8'10" just judging from how that's only maybe two and a half heads taller than your average person. True enough that it's not as massive as the in-game size comparison, but the show struggles to keep these measurements internally consistent too. I'm not even going to touch the fact that Seviper's weight is listed as a mere 100-something pounds despite being nearly always depicted as a creature large enough that it could probably crush people under its weight alone (presuming it weren't a gigantic air balloon, anyways). Nevertheless, the size in the above image is mostly what I imagined before looking up the question. Not as relatively small as 8'10" long nor as ridiculously huge as 8'10" tall. Sounds like there's a need for some tasteful editing here (although if I have a say in the matter, I'm going with what the image shows).
