Barter in Blood was played and not much was left in Maxine's hand. With Nighthawk and Nocturnus both now gone, she was open though it was not like the opponent had much or so she hoped. Seeing the blood killing her creatures had freaked her out a little though she choked a little on her spit. Her eyes widened for a moment as she tried to catch her breath again though at the same time heard the corpse mention not keeping creatures on the field very long. Lily spoke back as she began her turn, whatever she had up her sleeve she hoped it would be played soon. Lily played a card by the name Rubina Soulsinger though that looked like that was it. Now it was her turn forcing her to pick her top card though the one under the said card ws not revealed due to Nocturnus not being on the field anymore.

Maxine looked at the card she had drawn which was a creature card known as Stormkirk Captain which would be helpful if other vampires were on the field. That was the problem with her deck, if you could control it she would have a difficult time. Her eyes scanned the cards before her before wandering what to do, she could not do much other then play a card as that was all she could do. She soon tapped three lands, one swamp, one mountain and one dual land to summon Stormkirk Captain. Like in his art he appeared with weapon in hand, gates appearing behind him which swing open with various creatures in the background. Though they moved they were not involved in the fight itself. Maxine soon ended her turn.

The corpse soon began his turn as his rotten flesh grabbed the top card from his deck where he had a quick look to see what it was.
