Unable to infiltrate the faculty and all data collection ceased, Jacqueline, the CEO and owner of Gene Co, looks to an unusual ally: Cowl, Lost Haven’s own crime kingpin, and his Shroud Syndicate. Now it’s  a race to see if Rach is set free by her allies and existing on the run or end up in the clutches of the Shroud Syndicate and Gene Co, forced to become an unwilling lab rat.
